Hi friends my name is Randal Johnson and I’m the artist and owner of the Pure Paintress! Art is my superpower and I want you to experience pure happiness when you view my art. I express my passion for portrait painting by capturing smiles on canvas with the essence and likeness of each individual. My creations come from my heart. My goal is not just to paint beautiful moments but to inspire, bring joy and most of all encourage you to smile 🙂 This is the reason why I decided on the name, The Pure Paintress. I’m committed to capturing the most tender details that make your wedding day special and uniquely yours like preserving the beauty of the flowers to the grace of your wedding gown. I offer customized portraits of loved ones and pets. These paintings make great just because gifts or mementos of those that have moved on.

What To Expect
Once a package is chosen, a deposit is made to secure the date
A week before the wedding I schedule a call with you to finalize the details and determine the moment you’d like me to paint
On the day of, I will arrive 1-2 hours before the wedding starts to paint the background
During your special moment I will snap a photo to use as my reference through out the rest of the night. My goal is to get the first layer complete
At the studio, I will build on the details and finish with a varnish.
The painting will be hand delivered or mailed within 3 weeks. (Keep in mind I use oil paints which take time to dry)
Live Guest Illustration
Guest will pose for a quick photo and have their portrait turned into a masterpiece right before their eyes. Everyone puts so much effort into getting ready for the occasion, now lets capture their style! Not only will your guests be wowed and entertained, they also get to take home their very own portrait to treasure which will always remind them of your special day.
I use 6″x8″ Mixed Media paper, Brush tip markers, and colored pencils
1-2 people can be drawn per illustration
Each illustration takes 8-12 minutes to complete
Ready for pickup at the end of the night in a protective sleeve for safe keeping
